Last year, Motorola unveiled its flagship smartphone, Moto Edge+ (2022) in the US market only. While the phone featured flagship specifications such as Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, it was a popular model in the market. Now, it is leaked that the company is preparing to launch its successor, Moto Edge+ (2023). According to the leaks, the upcoming device will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and 12GB of RAM. Here are the details about the leaked Motorola smartphone…
Moto Edge+ (2023) appeared on Google Play Console
The new expected device appeared on the Google Play Console site with basic specifications and the front design. While the new Edge+ comes with flagship specifications, it is expected to be available in the US market only. In the renders, we can see that the new phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
The chipset is based on TSMC’s 4nm processor with 1x Cortex-X2 Super Core 3.0GHz, 2x Cortex-A715, 2x Cortex-A710 cores 2.5GHz, and 3x Cortex-A510 E-Cores 1.8GHz. Additionally, the phone will feature 12GB of RAM, and it runs the latest Android 13 OS.
We can assume that the Moto Edge+ (2023) would be the same as the Moto X40, which launched in China. That’s why, the Edge+ might have a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, a 4600mAh battery with 125W fast wired charging, alongside 15W wireless charging support.
