Moto G54 launched with mid-range specs in China for $150

Earlier, Motorola announced that it would launch the upcoming G-series smartphone, the Moto G54, in India on September 6th. Today, the company has made a change in the schedule and unveiled the new mid-range smartphone in China. So, the official specs of the G54 have been revealed. Moto G54 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset

Motorola launched its latest smartphone in the G-series, the G54, for the Chinese market ahead of its launch in India. However, there are a few changes between the Indian version and the Chinese version. The new smartphone comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support, while the Indian version features a 6,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.

When we look at the inner specs of the device, we can see that Motorola has preferred the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset with 2x 2.2GHz Cortex-A78, 6x 2GHz Cortex-A55 CPU cores, and IMG BXM-8-256 GPU for the Moto G54. Additionally, it has 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB with microSD.

In terms of camera, the G54 is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide / depth camera with f/2.2 aperture on the back, while it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. On the display, it features a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Moto G54 costs around 1099 yuan, which is roughly equal to USD 150 or about Rs. 12,710. It’s available for purchase in China now, and it comes in one version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
