Motorola Edge 70 leaks with new design, color options, and global pricing

Ana sayfa / News

Motorola’s next Edge-branded smartphone, the Edge 70, has surfaced early thanks to a series of fresh leaks—and it looks like a global release is already locked in. Sporting a refreshed design and bold new colors, the Edge 70 appears to be a rebranded version of the Moto X70 Air, which Lenovo has been teasing for a China debut later this month.

Lenovo hinted earlier this week that new Motorola phones were inbound, confirming the Moto X70 Air would launch in China soon. However, leaked renders and pricing details now suggest that the Edge 70 will be the global version of the same device.

According to a post from Ytechb, backed by a separate leak from Evan Blass, the Edge 70 and Moto X70 Air are effectively one and the same. That means global buyers can expect a thin chassis and standout finish options when it finally lands outside of China.

Galaxy Z TriFold won’t debut at Samsung’s October 11 event, which will instead reveal a luxury W-series foldable exclusive to China.

The result is a look that’s closer to flagship minimalism than midrange continuity—clearly, Motorola is aiming to shake things up.

While Motorola hasn’t confirmed anything officially, reliable tipster Paras Guglani reports that the Edge 70 will start at around €690 (~$809) for a configuration with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. If that pricing holds, the Edge 70 may be targeting an upper-midrange segment rather than a true flagship tier.

There’s still no official global launch date for the Edge 70, but based on Lenovo’s timeline for the Moto X70 Air in China, an international release could follow shortly after. In the meantime, these early reveals hint that Motorola is repositioning its Edge lineup—with sharper hardware and a bolder design direction.
