Motorola is partnering with Google to bring new AI-powered features to the 2024 Razr series. The innovations offer many functions that simplify and enrich users’ daily lives.
Motorola and Google bring AI experiences to the 2024 Razr lineup
Motorola is offering users a powerful AI assistant by integrating Google’s Gemini app into the new Razr series. For the first time, Razr users will have direct access to Gemini from their external display.
Gemini helps users with a wide range of tasks, from guiding users step-by-step through projects, to planning trips and events, to writing thank you notes and emails. It also makes it easy to get information from Google apps such as Google Maps, YouTube, Flights, Gmail and Drive.
Razr users will get three months free access to Gemini Advanced, which provides access to Google’s most capable AI models. They’ll also get 2TB of cloud storage and a Google One AI Premium plan to use Gemini in their favorite Google apps like Gmail, Docs and more.
The Motorola and Google partnership also offers some unique features on the new Razr devices that allow users to reshape their daily tasks. Photomoji, available in Google Messages, turns favorite photos into personalized emojis and stickers to add visual flair to messages. With Magic Compose, users can receive suggested message responses in a variety of styles (Exciting, Relaxed, Formal, Short) and get creative with their messages.

To further enhance the external display experience of the new Razr devices, access to Google Photos has been added. Users can view, delete, favorite or share photos and videos stored locally or in the cloud without opening their phone. Google Photos will soon offer Ask Photos, a new way to search for photos with Gemini.
Users who open their new Razr devices to edit photos will be able to use the latest AI-powered editing tools in Google Photos, including Magic Editor, Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur and more.
The Motorola and Google partnership also includes moto AI features enabled by Google Cloud. Moto Magic Canvas allows users to create stunning images with just text prompts. Users can also take advantage of features like Style Sync, which creates personalized device wallpaper options when they upload a photo of a pattern.
