Just before the upcoming Made by Google event scheduled for August 13th, with Android 15 expected to be introduced, there’s curiosity about whether recent Motorola devices will receive updates. Motorola, a prominent tech giant, has disclosed which phone models will not receive the Android 15 update in the upcoming period.
Motorola has yet to make an official announcement regarding Android 15 updates.
While Android 15 is still in development, many smartphone brands have started distributing beta versions, allowing users to get an early look at the new operating system. However, Motorola, despite offering economical solutions, lags somewhat behind its competitors in terms of Android updates.
Industry-leading analysts, despite the lack of an official statement from Motorola, have published a list based on the warranty periods and the phones’ positions in the ecosystem. According to this list, it is largely expected that the following phones will not receive the Android 15 update:
