The company launched the Motorola Razr 60 also known as the Motorola Razr 2025, back in April 2025, and one of its standout finishes? That exact shade.
It has a long-standing partnership with Pantone, frequently releasing devices in official Pantone colors, including each year’s Color of the Year. But this time, things flipped. The color’s early appearance on a retail product months before Pantone’s public announcement is a first.

Usually, Pantone’s big reveal comes first, followed by Motorola dropping phones in the new colorway. That happened with the 2025 color “Mocha Mousse,” where it rolled out matching phones soon after the reveal.
