Disney+, one of the world’s largest digital streaming services, constantly expands its content library, but sometimes it has to say goodbye to certain productions due to the expiration of agreements or to reduce costs. According to a recently published report, a total of 50 movies and series are being removed from Disney+ and Hulu.
Movies and TV shows will remove from Disney+ and Hulu!
According to a report shared by Deadline recently, The Walt Disney Company plans to remove many popular series and movies from Disney+ and Hulu as part of its cost-cutting plan. These contents will no longer be available for rewatching.
Earlier this month, Disney CEO Bob Iger and Chief Financial Officer Christine McCarthy announced that Disney+ lost 4 million subscribers in the first three months of 2023. They also added that they plan to remove some content from the streaming service.
According to the information shared, a total of 50 contents, including popular productions such as “Willow,” “Black Beauty” (2020), “Y: The Last Man,” and “Turner & Hooch,” will be removed from the Disney+ and Hulu libraries on May 26th.
