Elon Musk offered MrBeast to leave YouTube and produce content on X
MrBeast rejected Elon Musk’s offer to produce content on X because he could never surpass YouTube’s revenue potential. According to the YouTube star, the money Musk offered is never enough to switch platforms.
With over 225 million subscribers, MrBeast, who can be called the king of YouTube, declined tech giant Elon Musk’s offer to ‘Come share your videos on X’, firmly underlining that he will stay on YouTube.
The decision stems from MrBeast’s belief that despite Musk’s desire to make X an all-encompassing app, it cannot compete with the high revenue portfolio of Google-owned YouTube.
Last weekend, MrBeast, 25, real name Jimmy Donaldson, uploaded his latest video for his massive YouTube following. Despite the massive response, an X user urged him to consider broadcasting on the platform as well. Musk himself stepped in, expressing his desire to turn the platform into an “Everything app”.But as you can see, for some, it’s not all about the money.
