MSI is raising the bar in the portable game console space with the Claw 8 AI+ , which it plans to launch in 2025. We can say that MSI made big promises to gamers in terms of both performance and portability with its powerful hardware and new design. Here are the details…
MSI Claw 8 AI+, the first handheld console with Intel Core Ultra 200V processor, coming in 2025
First, we can talk about the technical features of the MSI Claw 8 AI + gaming console. The device is equipped with an 8-inch IPS screen and offers a resolution of 1920×1200. In addition, it provides a smooth and fluent image during games with VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) support. The screen does not tire the eyes even in fast-action scenes.
At the heart of the device is Intel’s latest Core Ultra 200V series processor, which is quite high performance for a portable gaming console. On the graphics side, it’s powered by Intel’s Arc Graphics 8 Xe2 GPU, meaning even graphically demanding games will run smoothly with the Claw 8 AI+.
Another striking feature of the device is that it offers 16GB or 32GB LPDDR5X RAM options. This amount of RAM will provide performance beyond many portable devices today. M.2 2280 SSD is used as storage. Your games will take much less time to load. In other words, you will be able to dive into games quickly.
The Claw 8 AI+ offers a battery capacity of up to 80Wh . It also offers users a wide range of data transfer and device connectivity with two Thunderbolt 4 ports. MSI introduced the Claw 8 AI+ console at the IFA Berlin fair in 2024, but it will not go on sale until 2025.
