Mobile World Congress (MWC) is usually held every year, and it is the biggest mobile phone show in the world. The event was a bit different in the last few years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. When is MWC 2023?
MWC used to be a big event in that companies launched their flagship devices, but it changed during the pandemic. For example, Samsung and Oppo launched their flagship devices, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series and Find N2 Flip at their events, respectively. However, we know some tech giants will attend the MWC 2023. The event will start on February 27 and through March 2 in Barcelona, Spain, but some companies have given ahead of time on Saturday and Sunday beforehand. Let’s check the details…
Xiaomi at MWC 2023 – February 26
Xiaomi will be one of the biggest phone manufacturers at the event. According to the company’s CEO Lei Jun’s post on Twitter, the Chinese brand will launch Xiaomi 13 series globally on February 26. In addition to the already revealed Xiaomi 13 series in China, we might see the Xiaomi 13 Ultra during the event.
Realme – February 28
According to the expectations, Realme will also launch a phone, which has already been revealed in China, and globally. Realme GT 3 will get a global launch on February 28 at the MWC 2023 in Barcelona. The new device will feature 240W fast-charging support, while the brand announced 150W charging at MWC 2022.
Honor – February 27
Honor announced that it will launch a new handset, the Honor Magic5 series, globally. Also, the company will launch Honor Magic VS foldable device globally. The new Magic5 series is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and great specifications. The company will introduce the new devices on February 27 at 7:30 AM ET.
Other announcements at MWC 2023
We also know that ZTE will announce the nubia Neovision Glass, which will be the first AR smart glasses for the company. Also, ZTE is to introduce the Nubia Pad 3D on February 28. OnePlus is expected to launch the OnePlus 11 Concept, which is similar to Nothing Phone 1 with its light-up rear.
