RTX Remix mode for Need for Speed Underground
The RTX Remix mode for Underground has actually been in testing for a while. The new version aims to improve graphics, fix bugs and boost performance. According to the release notes, various bug fixes and optimizations have been introduced with the 0.1 package.
Improvements have been made to ray-tracing effects such as global lighting and additional lighting. Over 2500 extra lights have been applied in the game atmosphere. Atmospheric elements such as lighting, smoke and lighting effects also make the game look more realistic.
The mod runs in 4K by default, but you can change the resolution in the settings. With the 0.1 package, car reflections can also be disabled for better performance. Of course, it’s important to note that the gameplay may be outdated.
The major update, which is still in active development, aims to combine the classic racing game with ray-tracing technology. Even though it’s still a work in progress, it brings NFS Underground up to date.
