Today’s reports suggest that Netflix Games will come to smart TVs. Moreover, the company has been working on a new feature that could allow gamers to use their iPhones as controllers for some time.
The game library known as Netflix Games was quietly launched in 2021 without a special event. Although there are already many different types of games available, the number of games will increase significantly after a possible TV integration process.
According to the latest reports, the codes in the Netflix app indicate that work is being done to bring Netflix Games to TVs soon. Another notable detail is that a separate effort is being made to give iPhones the function of a controller, as mentioned above, and these codes are said to be visible in the app.
Using an iPhone as a controller is not a new concept, actually. Apple even provides a simple remote control with Apple Remote for certain games on Apple TV. However, it is unclear exactly how Netflix’s new feature will work.
