Netflix’s The Witcher universe is preparing to captivate fans with a new anime film. The platform has released a short teaser trailer for The Witcher: Sirens of The Deep, which is expected to premiere in the coming months.
The Witcher anime arrives on February 11, 2025!
In the teaser, we catch a glimpse of the adventures of Geralt of Rivia, the Butcher of Blaviken, and the famous bard Jaskier. The characters are voiced by Doug Cockle (Geralt), well-known to fans of The Witcher game series, and Joey Batey, who plays Jaskier in the Netflix series.
Initially scheduled for release at the end of 2024, The Witcher: Sirens of The Deep has been delayed, with its new premiere date set for February 11, 2025. The animation is being produced by Studio Mir, Platige Image, and Hivemind.
This new anime is a sequel to The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, which focused on Geralt’s mentor Vesemir. Sirens of The Deep will be based on the short story A Little Sacrifice, familiar to fans of the series.
The voice cast also includes Anya Chalotra, reprising her role as Yennefer from the Netflix series, while renowned artist Christina Wren will voice Essi Daven, a key character in the story.
