According to The Verge, the licensing agreement for HBO content between Warner Bros. Discovery and Netflix, which has been rumored in recent days, has officially been finalized today. Many productions bearing the HBO signature are coming to Netflix.
As part of this deal that will intensify the competition among streaming platforms, the first HBO production to arrive on Netflix is the popular comedy series “Insecure.” The series, consisting of 5 seasons, is now available to Netflix users in the United States. Whether it will be offered to subscribers in Turkey is unknown.
Furthermore, it is expected that other HBO series such as “Band of Brothers,” “The Pacific,” “True Blood,” “Six Feet Under,” and “Ballers” will also come to Netflix in the near future. According to the source, the drama series “True Blood” will be available in many countries including the United States.
Netflix has not made an official statement regarding the details of the agreement. Therefore, it remains uncertain which other HBO productions will be added to the library besides the ones mentioned earlier.
