Netflix released the first trailer of the new science fiction movie Spaceman!
The screenplay of Spaceman is adapted from Jaroslav Kalfař’s novel The Bohemian Spaceman, which was released in 2017. Colby Day is the screenwriter of the film. The director of the film is Johan Renck, who directed five episodes of Chernobyl. The cast of Spaceman includes familiar faces. Kunal Nayyar, Lena Olin and Isabella Rossellini, known for The Big Bang Theory, will accompany Adam Sandler in Spaceman.
Six months into a solo research mission at the edge of the solar system, astronaut Jakub, played by Sandler, realizes that the marriage he left behind will not be waiting for him when he returns to Earth. This situation will also greatly affect Jakub’s mental health. In addition, astronaut Jakub, who is struggling with the troubles he brought from earth alone in space, will learn that he is not alone on the spaceship. A mysterious creature will accompany him on the mission.
This mysterious telepathic spider will help an astronaut hiding in the depths of his spaceship, desperate to make amends with his wife Lenka. This mysterious creature, whose name is Hanuš, is voiced by Paul Dano.
