Smartphone manufacturers have started rolling out the Android 15 update. However, Samsung, known for its speed with previous updates, seems to be lagging this time. The brand has delayed the Android 15-based One UI 7 patch multiple times due to issues in the development process and hasn’t even launched the beta phase yet. That said, this situation may soon change, as recent reports reveal key details about when the beta tests will begin.
When Will Samsung Start One UI 7 Beta Tests?
Tarun Vats, a notable industry leaker, has shared the latest developments regarding Samsung’s One UI 7 beta process. However, his information contradicts earlier rumors suggesting that testing would start in early December. According to Vats, the South Korean brand will kick off testing for the Galaxy S24 series in mid-December.
The source emphasizes that beta testing will initially be conducted on models in the US, South Korea, and Germany, gradually expanding to countries like India, Poland, the UK, and China. If this leak is accurate, the stable version’s release might be delayed until late February 2025. Still, it’s worth noting that these are just claims, and waiting for an official announcement from the company would be wise.
Although not yet confirmed, the beta program is expected to include the following models:
- Galaxy S Series: S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, S24 FE, S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, S23 FE, S22 Ultra, S22+, S22, S21, S21+, S21 Ultra, S21 FE
- Galaxy Z Series: Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3
- Galaxy A Series: A55, A54, A35
