WhatsApp has introduced a convenience feature to a group of users that will turn the app into a separate phone. WhatsApp has introduced a new in-app number dialing feature for beta testers. With this feature, you won’t even need to enter the phone’s call section. Details are in our news…
WhatsApp launches in-app number dialing
WhatsApp’s new number dialing feature allows users to make calls directly from the app without saving the number in the phone book. Now, you will be able to make your call without having to think “Do I need to save this number?”. This new feature will be available on the app’s home screen. This means you will be able to dial new numbers and make calls with a single tap.
WhatsApp number dialing allows you to dial an unsaved number from the app. You can save this number as a new contact or add it as an existing contact before dialing. Moreover, after dialing the number, you can also choose to send a message instead of making a call. So, it will also be possible to just send a message after dialing the number.
This WhatsApp dialing feature is a great convenience for WhatsApp users. In the past, it was impossible to make a call without registering a number, which caused your address book to fill up with unnecessary numbers. Now, your address book is clutter-free and more privacy is ensured. Now, you can make calls without saving numbers and prevent those numbers from seeing your profile information.
WhatsApp is not limited to this feature. There are many new features currently being tested. For example, a new status update preview feature is available to beta users. This feature shows status stories in a horizontal layout, allowing users to view the status without opening it.
It is not yet clear when these features will be available to all users. For now, only selected beta testers can experience these features. However, we will all benefit from these features very soon.
