New games are coming to the Xbox Game Pass library. Among the games available today is Rain World, where players manage a nomadic slugcat who acts as both predator and prey in an ecosystem overrun by industrial waste.
New games to be added to Game Pass have been announced.
Survival requires foraging for food while evading larger and more dangerous creatures. Rain World is available on the cloud, console, and PC with Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard subscriptions.
Numerous new games are joining the Game Pass library in the coming days. On August 6th, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector will be released for Xbox Series X|S. This dice-based RPG pits players on an adventure as a runaway android in a human and emotional sci-fi universe. Players acquire a ship, assemble a crew, and undertake missions across the Starward Zone.
On the same day, Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders is also coming to Xbox Series X|S. In this racing game set in snow-covered mountains, players can skate, race, or take risks in a high-speed race with cross-platform multiplayer for up to eight players.
MechWarrior 5: Clans also launches on August 6th. Players pilot Smoke Jaguars in Clan Invasion, commanding five “Star” teams. The expansive campaign, set across diverse planets, features tactical and strategic battles with customizable war machines.
Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap will be released on the same day for Xbox Series X|S. A third-person shooter and trap defense game, players battle as a battlemage alone or in teams of up to four players against hordes of orcs.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage joins the Game Pass library on August 7th. This game tells the story of Basim, set on the streets of ninth-century Baghdad. Through the mysterious organization “The Hidden Ones,” Basim masters his craft, becoming a deadly Master Assassin and changing his destiny. The game is available on the cloud, console, and PC with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscriptions.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite returns to the library on August 12th. The third-person survival shooter follows a team of tough marines battling the evolving Xenomorph threat. The game is available on the cloud, console, and PC with Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. On the same day, the series Alien: Earth premieres on FX and premieres on Hulu.
On August 14th, 9 Kings will launch on PC with a Game Preview. In 9 Kings, a fast-paced roguelike kingdom-building game, players battle massive armies against rival kings and strengthen their kingdoms with thousands of different structures. The game will be available with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscriptions.
