A former Rockstar Games employee has leaked some early gameplay footage from the development of Grand Theft Auto 6, arguably the most anticipated game in the gaming world. Over 12 years have passed since the release of GTA 5, and fans of the series continue to eagerly await the new installment. Currently scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, the game has once again become a hot topic with these leaked images.

The leaked video appears in a developer’s personal demo portfolio. The footage shows a generic character model using a bike rental station and testing animations for getting on and off the bike. Another, more striking scene shows Lucia, one of the game’s main characters, jumping from the back of a pickup truck. This detail suggests that players will now be able to ride in the back of pickup trucks and that their vehicle capacity will be increased. The video also features development animations for Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA 5, and Max Payne 3.
Rockstar officially unveiled the game with a record-breaking trailer released in December 2023. This announcement confirmed that the series would return to Vice City for the first time in HD, marking the first new game to feature the city since 2007’s Vice City Stories.
