OnePlus 12R Receives OxygenOS 15.0.0.860 Update
This update, version number CPH2585_15.0.0.860(EX01), includes a number of new features, usability improvements, and the September 2025 Android security patch. Users who want to manually check for the update can go to Settings > System > System Updates.
New Features in the Update
- Animations: The response time of animations when tapping notifications or Live Alerts on the lock screen has been improved.
- Photos App: A new map album has been added, allowing you to view all photos containing location data on a map. Photos moved from a private album to a public album are returned to their original folders, making it much easier to find them. You can also change your privacy password on each secondary page in the Private Vault and Locked album sections.
- Screen Time Management: You can track your daily and weekly screen time in the App Management section under the Phone Manager app.
- IR Remote Control App: The button layout on the remote control panel has been revamped for greater user friendliness.
- System Security: The September 2025 security patch has been integrated to enhance overall system security.
As with every OxygenOS update, this update is being rolled out gradually. Initially available to a limited number of users, the update will be rolled out to a wider audience within a few days.
