New record: Electric vehicle sales exploded!

In recent years, the rapid advancement of technology has solidified the presence of electric vehicles (EVs) in our lives. Today, EVs are nearly as popular as gasoline-powered cars on the streets. But how are EV sales doing, and in which regions are they most prevalent? A new report sheds light on these questions.

According to a report recently released by research firm Rho Motion, global EV sales reached 1.8 million units in November, marking an increase of 100,000 units compared to the previous month—setting a new record.

From January to November 2024, a total of 15.2 million EVs were sold worldwide, reflecting a 25% increase compared to the same period last year. China topped the charts with an impressive 9.7 million units sold, a 40% year-on-year increase, further cementing its position as the global leader in EV adoption.

Europe expands electric vehicle charging infrastructure

Electric vehicle charging infrastructure is being expanded. Millions of smart fast charging stations will be installed in Europe in cooperation with Siemens and E.ON.
