Prime Video, in collaboration with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks, has released the latest trailer for the upcoming Fallout TV series, depicting the survival struggle of a ghoul, a Vault Dweller, and a Brotherhood of Steel member in the desolate wastelands.
Fallout TV series trailer and release date
The Fallout series, featuring all its episodes, is set to release on April 11, 2024, and will be exclusively available on Prime Video. The series presents a new story about the survivors of the Fallout universe.
The trailer, summarized by Brotherhood of Steel member Maximus (Aaron Moten) saying, “Everyone wants to save the world, they just can’t agree on how to do it,” successfully reflects the tone and atmosphere of the series, set amidst various factions in conflict.
The creation of the series began years ago when show producer Jonathan Nolan (known for the Westworld series and writer of films like The Dark Knight) met with Bethesda Game Studios’ executive producer Todd Howard for dinner.
Following this meeting, Nolan and Howard “shook hands” on creating a series. Nolan shares his passion for the Fallout games, stating, “For me, it started with Fallout 3, which nearly consumed my life for a year.
Comments and expectations about the series
The teaser trailer for the Fallout series was already impressive, and with the full trailer, it’s clear that the series has captured its tone, look, and sound perfectly. The trailer piques interest about what different factions like the New California Republic (NCR) and Brotherhood of Steel are up to.
Additionally, you can now customize your own Fallout-themed Xbox controller via the Xbox Design Lab. The Fallout series became one of the biggest Xbox series after Microsoft acquired ZeniMax Media in 2021.
What do you think about this series? Will the release of the Fallout series be a significant moment for fans of the franchise? We look forward to your comments and thoughts!”
