Volvo continues its teaser campaigns for the brand-new EX30, which is expected to be released on June 7th. The Swedish manufacturer has been sharing various posts about the new electric SUV model for a while, and in their latest post, they accidentally revealed the Volvo EX30.
Volvo EX30 was spotted on the internet site shortly before its unveiling
The Swedish manufacturer briefly published an image on their car configurator, revealing a profile view of the EX30. Although the company quickly realized the mistake and replaced the shared image with a covered version, they couldn’t escape being caught by the Swedish website “Allt Om Elbil.”
With the leaked image, the design details of the EX30 also came to light. The mistakenly shared image on the company’s website confirms the previously leaked patent images of the vehicle. Volvo’s small electric SUV model will have a more sporty design compared to the EX90 to attract younger users.
We still don’t know the exact dimensions of the new SUV model, which will be positioned below the Volvo XC40. However, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the electric vehicle will be approximately 4.2 meters long. Built on Geely’s SEA architecture, the SUV model will be a platform sibling to vehicles like the Smart #1 and Zeekr X.
It is expected that the Swedish manufacturer will release the new SUV model with both single and dual electric motor options. The new electric SUV model is also believed to offer various battery packs with different ranges.
While we have a good grasp of the design details of the Volvo’s new electric SUV model, we will only learn about its technical specifications during the official unveiling. What are your thoughts on the Volvo EX30? Feel free to share your opinions in the comments section.
