NIO, the Chinese company known for its electric cars, is entering the smartphone market with its NIO Phone. The first model, known as N2301, is set to be released soon, and some of its design and technical specifications have recently been revealed. A recent report sheds light on the charging capabilities of the NIO Phone model.
NIO Phone appeared in 3C database
The NIO Phone will support charging speeds of up to 100W, as indicated by its entry in the 3C database. However, there is no information available regarding the battery capacity.
The NIO Phone is scheduled to be unveiled on September 21st. In fact, the smartphone was prominently featured in the promotional video of the recently revealed EC6 model, which was showcased online. Many details about the design of the device have been revealed, especially within the first 50 seconds of the video.
This flagship smartphone is notable for its high-end technical specifications, including a quad-camera setup and a curved glass back panel with the NIO logo. On the front, there is a punch-hole selfie camera. The device also features slim bezels, and the fingerprint reader is located beneath the display for security.
The smartphone will be available with two storage and RAM options: 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which features a 4nm architecture and includes 1x 3.36 GHz ARM Cortex-X3, 2x 2.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A710, 2x 2.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A715, and 3x 2.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A510 cores, along with an Adreno graphics unit.
