Nio Phone comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 12GB RAM
Nio is preparing to launch its first smartphone as new benchmark results have emerged. The benchmark score leaked on AnTuTu showed that the Nio Phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
The device will also have 12GB RAM and 1TB storage. On the battery side, it is expected to have 100W fast charging feature.
Nio Phone scores 1,360,974 points on AnTuTu. The phone’s AnTuTu benchmark performance is below that of China-exclusive Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 smartphones. This suggests that Nio needs to optimize the software more.
The device is expected to have some car integration. In China, some phones from brands like Oppo, Vivo and OnePlus function as digital car keys. It is rumored that the Nio’s device could also be used to unlock the company’s own electric cars.
The smartphone also recently went through the regulatory approval process in China. This means that its launch is imminent. Thanks to its superior features and integration with Nio’s ecosystem, it looks set to usher in a new era in the smartphone market.
