No Man’s Sky 4.48 Update Patch Notes
Thank you to everyone playing the No Man’s Sky Holiday Expeditions 2023 update, especially those taking the time to report any issues they encounter via Zendesk or console crash reporting.
We are listening closely to your feedback, and have identified and resolved a number of issues. These fixes are included in patch 4.47, which is now live on Steam and will be coming to other platforms as soon as possible.
- Fixed an issue that could cause decals to render black on macOS.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the Etched In Glass milestone not to display its instructional notification message.
- Fixed a rare crash that could occur in multiplayer.

Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where NPCs would get stuck on the floor.
Patch 4.47 also includes the fixes that were released on PC and Mac in version 4.46.2
- Fixed an issue that could prevent the purchase or exchange of a Freighter.
- Fixed an issue where some expedition milestones could become locked when loading an expedition mode save on an older version of the game.
