Samsung is developing a new universal smart lock standard called Aliro. For older devices or those with NFC, it will be possible to unlock with a simple tap.
The company plans to integrate this feature with Digital Home Key, which it will introduce in 2025. With this feature, entering your home will be like being in a science fiction movie. Meanwhile, Apple is also planning to integrate the Aliro standard into its devices, but we have not yet heard anything about this technology from the Google front.
