Two entry-level Nokia models, Nokia G42 5G and Nokia G310 5G, which are expected to be budget-friendly, have been spotted in the Bluetooth SIG database. Some specifications of the upcoming models have also been leaked alongside the database. It is expected that both smartphones will have Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity support and feature an HD+ resolution LCD display.
Nokia G42 5G and G310 5G specs leaked
According to the initial information, there are many similarities between G42 5G and G310 5G. Both devices are reported to come with a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, waterdrop notch, and up to 560 nits of brightness. These displays will have Gorilla Glass 3 protection, catering to the entry-level segment.
Both devices will be powered by the Snapdragon 480 Plus 5G chipset. Additionally, it is stated that G42 5G and G310 5G will come out of the box with Android 13 and receive updates from Nokia for 4 years.
While the leaked information provides insights into the basic features of the devices, pricing and launch date are not yet known. However, it is worth mentioning that Nokia has several models in the entry-level segment and they are usually priced between $150 and $300. We expect G42 5G and G310 5G to fall within this range.
One of the recent entry-level models from Nokia was Nokia C110. The device featured a 6.3-inch HD+ resolution LCD display and MediaTek Helio P22 processor. It housed a 13-megapixel rear camera and an LED flash on the back.
