The Nothing Phone (2), one of the most innovative smartphone designs, will be launched on July 11th. The founder of the company, Carl Pei, shared new images on Twitter revealing a transparent USB-C charging cable. This cable will come included in the box with the Phone 2.
Take a look to Nothing Phone (2)’s USB-C cable
Last year’s Nothing Phone (1) came with a straight, white USB-C cable. However, Nothing is taking it a step further to meet the expectations in this area by making the packaging even more transparent. According to the initial images shared on Twitter, we will see a cable that is compatible with the Phone (2).
The design of the USB-C cable reflects the overall design of the device. While the cable cord is white, the USB-C end comes in transparent plastic. Additionally, the cable end features the “Nothing” logo. This design follows the transparent appearance of the Phone (2) casing.
Another noteworthy aspect of the new cable is the presence of six small dots on the USB-C end. However, Carl Pei did not specify the purpose of these dots. According to speculation, these dots will align with the LED light on the back of the device and illuminate in different shapes during charging.
On the other hand, the standout feature of the new device will be its reliance on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. This processor is expected to enhance performance with 8GB/12GB of RAM.
In terms of storage, the Phone (2) will come with options of 128GB/256GB. It will feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
It is important to note that the new phone will be announced on July 11th.
