Nothing is getting ready to turn the imagination of its users into reality. On October 30th, Nothing Phone 2a Community Edition, designed entirely by its users, will see the light of day.
User-designed Nothing Phone 2a Community Edition is coming
The company will unveil the special user-designed Phone 2a Community Edition at a launch event on October 30. Building on the Phone 2a, the new device will have various design and software differences.
As part of the Community Edition project that started in March, Nothing offered users the opportunity to customize various aspects of the phone, such as the design, wallpapers and box. Over the course of six months, users worked on and voted on different design concepts.
Of course, the final version of the device has not yet been confirmed, but there are some claims. The Phone 2a Community Edition will feature a neon green back panel with a glow-in-the-dark finish. The packaging and wallpapers will be redesigned to match the color theme.
The device’s 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, 50 Megapixel dual rear camera and 32 Megapixel front camera will remain unchanged.
At the October 30 event, Nothing will share the design chosen by its users, pricing and availability.
