nubia Z50 Ultra launched in China! Specs and Price

Today, ZTE announced its first non-gaming Android smartphone with flagship specifications in China. While the new phone makes a huge impact on the market, the nubia Z50 Ultra comes as a competitor to other flagship smartphones. According to the announcements, the first non-gaming smartphone of the ZTE brand features the latest camera technologies, chipset, and more. Here are the details about the nubia Z50 Ultra.

nubia Z50 Ultra is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

As it is a new flagship candidate, the company prefers to launch the new Z50 Ultra with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is more efficient and powerful than others right now. Additionally, the nubia Z50 Ultra comes with 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage options.

On the display, the Chinese brand uses a flat 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with a 2480 x 1116px resolution screen with up to 120Hz refresh rate. Also, the new phone is the first nubia Z series with a physical slide on the right-hand side, which can be used to mute notifications, turn on gaming mode or take instant photos. Besides, there are a power key and the volume key on the same side.

In terms of camera, the new flagship Z50 Ultra comes with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 main, a 64-megapixel periscope, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with AF and macro support on the back. The phone also has a 16-megapixel selfie camera, which is a 4th-generation under-display technology called Neovision.

While the nubia Z50 Ultra runs MyOS 13 out of the box, it is available in Gray and Black color options. It costs CNY4,999 ($720/€675) for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage option. The phone will be on sale on March 14 at 10 AM in China.
