NuPhy Node75 Debuts with Retro Looks, Custom Touch Bar, and Massive Battery Life

Ana sayfa / Computers

NuPhy has officially opened pre-orders for the Node75, a retro-styled wireless mechanical keyboard that blends a customisable touch bar, ultra-long battery life, and surprisingly lightweight design into one standout package. Priced at $99.95, it straddles the line between budget-friendly and enthusiast-worthy and it’s looking like one of NuPhy’s most versatile boards yet.

The Node75 stands out immediately for its retro-inspired case, topped with a dot-matrix visual theme and capped by a unique Apple-style mini touch bar. But it’s not all looks this keyboard is built for both portability and long-haul use.

NuPhy is offering the Node75 in two key flavors:

Despite the powerful batteries, the keyboards remain impressively light. The low-profile version weighs just 659 g, and the full-size model comes in at 829 g a far cry from the heavier metal-bodied competitors in this price range.

Keychron Swaps to ZMK Firmware for Flagship Wireless Keyboards

Keychron’s Q6 Ultra 8K and V1 Ultra 8K debut with ZMK firmware, promising huge wireless battery gains and new switch designs.

Though early teasers made it seem like the entire top bar would be touch-sensitive, the final design reveals a small touch surface on the top right, bounded by tactile bumps. It’s minimal but functional.

Through NuPhyIO, the browser-based configuration tool, users can map tap and swipe gestures, mimicking what a rotary knob usually does but with more nuance.

Here’s what makes the Node75 worth a closer look:

While the Node75 uses an ABS plastic case, the build doesn’t feel compromised. If anything, it keeps the weight down and offers flexibility for extras.

Alongside the keyboard, NuPhy also revealed three new desk mats, color-matched to the Node75’s variants and designed with the same dot-matrix visual motif. Measuring 900 mm x 400 mm x 4 mm, they match the keyboard’s retro-meets-modern feel while giving your setup a cohesive look.

With the Node75, NuPhy has aimed squarely at users who want a beautiful, lightweight mechanical keyboard with premium touches but without a triple-digit price tag. Between the custom touch bar, smart firmware, and swappable parts, it’s more than just another wireless board.

If the execution matches the ambition, the Node75 could be NuPhy’s new benchmark.
