Graphics card giant NVIDIA announced the expected new era with the “GeForce Beyond” event that had just started. The 3000 series started to be replaced by 4000 series graphics cards. NVIDIA is here with the long-awaited GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards.

The company is raising the bar with its new products. The new graphics cards use the Ada Lovalace GPU from TSMC’s 4 nm manufacturing process. For now, the series includes two different cards, the RTX 4080 and RTX 4090.
The $899 RTX 4080 offers 2-4 times more performance than the 3080 Ti. The 12GB model is built on 7680 CUDA cores, carries 12GB of GDDR6X memory (192-bit), and has a TGP of 285W. The $1,199 RTX 4080 16GB model is built on 9728 CUDA cores, 16GB of GDDR6X memory (256-bit), and has a TGP of 340.

NVIDIA RTX 4080 an 4090 price
The $1,599 RTX 4090 model offers 2-4 times more performance than the 3090 Ti. It is built on 16384 CUDA cores, carries 24 GB of GDDR6X memory (384-bit), and has a TGP of 450W. However, this is reportedly a low-end TGP. Some companies will be able to go as high as 660W TGP. For the 4080 models, the maximum TGP will be 366W and 516W.
DLSS 3 technology
In the meantime, the expected announcement for DLSS 3 technology (Deep Learning Super Sampling) was made along with the new graphics cards. DLSS 3, which improves quality and performance with new enhancements, analyzes images better than before, thus eliminating many distortions seen in DLSS 2.
With DLSS 3, which game companies should support? For example, the Cyberpunk 2077 game can increase from 25-26 fps to 90-100 fps in RTX mode with all settings on. When DLSS 3 is activated, the frame rate of Microsoft Flight Simulator can increase from 55 fps to 110 fps. These increases achieved with the combination of hardware and software look incredible.
