Twitch will be able to deliver much better streams with NVIDIA GeForce 900. A feature designed to enhance broadcasts is now available with the latest OBS 30.2 RC1 version. This feature will also provide broad NVIDIA GPU support. Introduced at the 2024 CES event by NVIDIA for the GeForce platform, this feature was completed in collaboration with the popular broadcasting platform OBS. This allows broadcasters to achieve the best stream based on their viewers’ network connections and hardware capacities. NVIDIA’s announcement has garnered significant interest among broadcasters. Ensuring a more impressive experience for the audience has become vital for the platform.

This feature enables broadcasters to create multiple versions of their streams using the GPU’s dedicated encoder resources. With multiple encoding capabilities, videos will be presented in different resolutions. Thanks to the dedicated encoders in NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs, this will provide higher quality streaming for all resolutions and reduced latency support. Additionally, there will be an automatic configuration option for OBS to optimize your settings based on your processing power and upload bandwidth.

New broadcasts will create different resolution versions of your stream using your GPU’s dedicated encoder resources. Depending on internet quality, viewers will receive the optimal stream. Even those unaware of technical details will be able to stream in the best way possible with the new feature.
