Nvidia has released its new graphics driver 576.88 for the GeForce series. With this release, DLSS 4.0 support has been added to Mecha BREAK, Diablo IV and Monster Hunter Wilds. In addition, the new driver supports the RTX 5050 graphics card used in both desktops and laptops. The driver also includes various optimizations and bug fixes.
GeForce 576.88 driver released
The released update fixes an issue that caused the GPU memory to run at low speeds when the NVIDIA Smooth Motion feature was enabled. The bug that caused some laptops to freeze when DLSS Frame Generation was active and the Application Overlay was used in the Cyberpunk 2077 game has also been fixed.
The black screen problem seen when installing the GeForce driver on computers with AMD Ryzen processors has also been eliminated with this version. The driver no longer supports GeForce GTX 700, 900 and 10 series models. Users can download and install the new driver from Nvidia’s official website or via the Nvidia app.
There are still some issues with the driver that need to be resolved. Cyberpunk 2077 may crash when taking a screenshot in Photo Mode with path tracing enabled. Random square artifacts may be seen around lights in Battlefield 2042.
Artifacts may occur when ray tracing is enabled in World of Warcraft. In Counter-Strike 2, when the in-game resolution is lower than the screen’s native resolution, text may be distorted.
The Nvidia GeForce 576.88 driver includes important updates to improve performance and gaming experience. With the new driver, users will be able to benefit from the benefits of DLSS 4.0 technology and will also find solutions to some known issues.
