NVIDIA solves the lag problem in popular games!

NVIDIA shared a critical update against performance problems in some games. This update, distributed as GeForce Hotfix Driver , will fix bugs in games such as Red Dead Redemption 2 and Immortals of Aveum.

NVIDIA has released the new GeForce Hotfix Driver Version 551.46 to fix stuttering issues that occur while playing games or browsing the web browser. This update focuses on fixing micro stutters that occur when scrolling in some games and the web browser when vertical sync is enabled.

Released as GeForce Hotfix Driver Version 551.46, the package is based on the 551.23 Game Ready driver but includes additional optimizations. According to NVIDIA’s release notes, intermittent stuttering was fixed when vertical synchronization (V-Sync) was enabled in games.

The hardware giant also said that it fixed performance problems in some internet browsers. It was stated that users who encounter sudden hangups while scrolling in the browser will no longer receive these errors.

The fix also targets Advanced Optimus-powered computers. It will solve the hangups users experience while playing Red Dead Redemption 2 with the Vulkan API. Stability issues experienced in long game sessions for Immortals of Aveum have also been resolved.
