Samsung October 2024 Update for Galaxy A55
After being released for several devices, including the Galaxy A33 in recent days, the update is now available for the Galaxy A55, a strong competitor in the mid-range segment. The update, with the software version A556EXXS5AXI4, has been rolled out for Galaxy A55 models in the Asian region. It only includes fixes and does not introduce any new features.
The October 2024 update includes a total of 30 fixes. Of these, 12 are specifically applied to Galaxy phones and tablets, addressing vulnerabilities in the Android operating system. Additionally, one fix has been released for phones and smartwatches powered by selected Samsung Exynos processors.
The update might not have reached your region yet, but it will be available soon as it is being released in phases across different regions. To check for and download the update, you can go to the Settings app, navigate to Software Update, and click on Download and Install. The update might also be downloaded automatically once it’s available.
