Android updates are among the most highly anticipated by users. When buying a phone, one of the key factors we consider is how many updates it will receive. As a result, smartphone manufacturers are extending their update promises and speeding up their release schedules. Samsung, which has been working on the stable One UI 7 update for a while, might release it earlier than expected. Here are the details.
One UI 7 Expected to Launch Soon
Samsung continues testing One UI 7 beta versions for its flagship devices. After initially rolling out the beta update for the Galaxy S24 in December, users have been eagerly waiting for the stable release. It seems that the first devices to receive the stable version will be the Galaxy S24 series.
Last week, Samsung released the fourth One UI 7 beta update for Galaxy S24 users. This update introduced several bug fixes and AI-powered camera filters.
Shortly after this update, another beta version was rolled out. Considering there was a one-and-a-half-month gap between the third and fourth beta updates, it’s clear that Samsung is accelerating the process.
The latest One UI 7 update, with software version ZYBB, was released with a size of 436MB. While the exact number of remaining beta updates is unknown, a Samsung Community moderator has hinted that the stable version will be available soon. According to leaks, the stable One UI 7 update is expected to roll out to the Galaxy S24 series in March.
