Even though Samsung periodically updates its operating system to new versions, there haven’t been significant changes in Samsung’s One UI interface for the past three years. According to sources close to the South Korean tech giant, Android 15-based One UI 7 will come with the most extensive design changes ever.
Expected Innovations with Samsung Galaxy One UI 7
According to reliable source Ice Universe, One UI 7.0 will offer an entirely new user interface design. This could be the most change-filled version in One UI history. The update is also expected to include refreshed app icons, suggesting that Samsung might finally break its long-standing tradition.
Typically, Samsung prefers to update its app icon designs at least once every five years. If the rumors are true, One UI 7 will feature a new icon design language and a broader user interface refresh, marking a significant leap forward.
Based on Samsung’s past update cycles, the stable version of One UI 7.0 could be released in October or November of this year. High-end and mid-range devices, as well as foldable phones, will receive the updates before the end of 2024. Entry-level and some mid-range phones may have to wait until the first quarter of 2025 for the update.
There is no official release date for the new generation operating system One UI 7 yet. What do you think about this topic? Feel free to share your thoughts with us in the comments.
