Samsung has begun the countdown to the Android 16-based One UI 8 update. The brand has been testing the new version with the Galaxy S25 series for some time, and it appears older phones from previous years will also receive the beta update soon.
Which Samsung models will receive the One UI 8 beta?
Samsung has shared important details and a roadmap for One UI 8. Following the Galaxy S25 series, the South Korean company will also release beta updates for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6 next week.
It’s not just limited to these. The company will also release betas for a wide range of products in September, including mid-range and tablet models.

- Galaxy S23 Ultra
- Galaxy Z Flip 5
- Galaxy Z Fold 5
- Galaxy A55
- Galaxy A54
- Galaxy A36
- Galaxy A35
- Galaxy Tab S10 Plus
- Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra
Users with supported devices can join the beta program through the Samsung Members app when it becomes available in their region.
Samsung will initially release the stable version of One UI 8 for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra in September. After that, the update will gradually reach more Galaxy devices.
