A year of significant changes awaits OnePlus fans. Rumors that the OnePlus 15 will feature a completely redesign, which has been the subject of numerous leaks for months, have finally been confirmed with images leaked by a Weibo user. Here are the first real-life details of the OnePlus 15.
OnePlus 15 design leaked
The images reveal that the circular camera island, a signature feature of OnePlus’s high-end models, is now a thing of the past. Instead, we see a sleek square module with rounded corners and a black finish housing three cameras. This design change signals a new chapter in the brand’s aesthetic.
The phone’s front face is not yet visible, but reports indicate it will feature a 6.78-inch flat display with a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 165Hz refresh rate.
The OnePlus 15 will be released in three different colors: “Dune,” a flagship color frequently seen in marketing materials; “Absolute Black,” claimed to be the darkest black ever used on a smartphone; and “Mist Purple,” a refined shade.
The device, which will be called the OnePlus 15 by default and skip the “4,” is expected to be unveiled alongside the Ace 6 in October. The flagship model will be powered by the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. One of the most significant innovations will be the camera.
Following the end of its partnership with Hasselblad, OnePlus will use its own in-house imaging engine for the first time on this model. Finally, the phone will reportedly feature a massive 7,000mAh battery, which will support 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. These features will elevate expectations for both performance and battery life.
