The OnePlus 15 has officially landed in China, packing standout specs like a blazing-fast 165Hz display, a 7,300mAh battery, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Elite performance. Global fans won’t have to wait long either OnePlus says the international release is “coming soon.”

This year’s flagship leapfrogs the OnePlus 13’s 120Hz screen, pushing up to 165Hz. It’s a spec few phones can match, even if the real-world use remains niche, most Android games still don’t support frame rates that high.

Still, scrolling and UI animations should look extra smooth, and the display itself looks to be a visual centerpiece of the device.

Battery life is another headline feature. The 7,300mAh cell puts the OnePlus 15 in the same camp as other China-exclusive big-battery phones this year. Whether that exact capacity makes it into global models remains unknown. OnePlus hasn’t confirmed parity across regions.

Either way, it’s paired with 120W wired charging, which should fill the tank fast, even with such a large cell.

On the back, the OnePlus 15 features a triple 50MP camera system, with an upgraded periscope lens for better zoom clarity. This puts it in direct competition with other top-tier camera phones.

The phone also boasts an IP69K rating, which is extremely rare. That means protection not just from dust and water but also high-temperature, high-pressure water spray, something even most rugged phones can’t claim.

Alongside the flagship, OnePlus also launched the Ace 6, likely to rebrand internationally as the OnePlus 15R. It keeps things simpler with a dual-camera setup but includes an even larger 7,800mAh battery, positioning it for users who prioritize screen time over features.

So far, OnePlus hasn’t revealed the official global launch date, but the “coming soon” phrasing suggests a short wait. Pricing in China starts at ¥3,999 (about $560), though international versions usually see some markup.

Still, if the full spec sheet holds for global models, the OnePlus 15 could be one of the more compelling flagship releases this season. Especially for users tired of charging by midday.
