Previously, OnePlus introduced a phone named Ace 2 that used Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor. At the beginning of this month, it announced that the 2nd version, Ace 2 Dimensity Edition, using a MediaTek processor, would come out.

Today, it has been revealed that a new device named Ace 2V will be introduced, and this model will come directly with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. Therefore, there will be no 2nd version using Snapdragon. This shows that even the brands that used to only buy chips from Qualcomm and become successful are turning to MediaTek.

Although MediaTek is the company that produces the most processors for technological devices, we can say that its success in the smartphone industry is quite new compared to its competitors.
