OnePlus Ace 5 Will Be Equipped with a 50-Megapixel Sony IMX9 Lens
While OnePlus is currently focused on its upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 13, which is set to be unveiled in October, the OnePlus Ace 5 isn’t far behind. Previous leaks suggested a November launch.
Renowned for Android leaks, Digital Chat Station has shared some key details about the new series. According to the leaks, the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro will be launched between December 2024 and early January 2025.
The source also shared some technical details about the series. Both models will feature 50-megapixel main cameras with Sony IMX9 series sensors. Additionally, the devices will come with BOE X2 OLED displays on the front, offering 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The standard Ace 5 will be powered by Qualcomm’s current flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while the Ace 5 Pro will debut with the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Both models will be equipped with 6,000mAh batteries. It’s also noted that while the series will launch in China, it may be marketed under a different name in global markets.
