Today, OnePlus held a great hardware event in China. At the event, OnePlus launched a few devices including, the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus Buds Pro 2. The new flagship OnePlus 11 made a great effect on the market, but the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is also another significant device at the event. The new Buds Pro 2 wireless earbuds come with some important features such as improved noise-canceling, Dolby Atmos spatial audio, and sound tuning by Dynaudio. Here are the details about the OnePlus Buds Pro 2.
OnePlus Buds Pro 2 comes with significant features
Buds Pro 2 is the new version of last year’s Buds Pro. Even though the new device comes with the same basic design, which is a two-tone finish on the buds and a matte charging case, it has a lot of improved features.
Buds Pro 2 has a few key connectivity functions such as Bluetooth 5.3 and an ANC of up to 48db of outside noise. Additionally, there are three microphones on each earbud to have a better communication experience. The brand brings the new buds with the same 11mm dynamic drivers and 6mm planar diaphragm drivers.
The earbuds support the AAC, SBC, and LC3 codecs in the launch software. However, the device will get support for the LHDC 5.0 audio codec for high-res audio streaming over Bluetooth in a future software update. If you have a new Oppo or OnePlus device, it will be easy for you to connect and switch between devices thanks to buds’ software.
While the company claims that the new earbuds can last up to 39 hours with their charging case with ANC off, the case can charge wirelessly via any Qi charger or wired via USB-C. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is available in black and green color options, and it has CNY 899 ($130) price tag in China.
