Opel will unveil its new hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, the Movano HYDROGEN, at the IAA Transportation show in Hanover from September 16-22, 2024. This model, which boasts a range of about 500 kilometers and a refueling time of less than 5 minutes, has already caught the attention of many.
Opel Movano HYDROGEN on the Road! What are its features?
The new Movano HYDROGEN is developed with next-gen German technology and is also available in an electric version. The vehicle offers flexibility and a large cargo capacity, making it ideal for commercial use. Alongside this hydrogen fuel cell model, Opel will showcase other innovative electric vehicles like the Combo Electric and Rocks Electric in the near future.
The Movano HYDROGEN will have its premiere on September 16, where visitors will get to see how the hydrogen fuel cell performs and what advantages it offers in daily use. This model maintains the flexibility and load capacity of other Movano versions but stands out with its more environmentally friendly features.
Utilizing the same powertrain as the Vivaro HYDROGEN, the Movano HYDROGEN reaches a range of about 500 kilometers with a plug-in battery and refuels in just 5 minutes. The vehicle’s 150-horsepower electric motor provides high torque and regenerative braking capabilities.
Opel will also showcase the Opel Combo Electric, which offers a range of approximately 346 kilometers and features Intelli-Lux LED Matrix headlights, enhancing road illumination with cutting-edge German technology.
Additionally, the ultra-compact Rocks Electric, equipped with a CARGO kit, will be presented as an ideal solution for small deliveries and zero-emission urban transport.
