Ana sayfa / News

There are significant changes happening in OpenAI’s board structure: following Microsoft’s official departure from the OpenAI board, attention turned to Apple’s anticipated statement. According to the latest reports, after Microsoft’s exit, it has emerged that Apple also does not wish to occupy any board seats at OpenAI.

According to the Financial Times, not only Apple but also Microsoft relinquished their observer seats on the OpenAI board due to increased scrutiny from regulatory bodies. Following these developments, both companies have decided to participate only in joint meetings rather than holding board memberships.

OpenAI spokesperson Steve Sharpe expressed gratitude for Microsoft’s confidence in the board and the company’s development, stating their intention to continue their partnership. Sharpe mentioned that despite Microsoft and Apple not being on the board, their strategic partnerships will continue, and they will engage in a new process of informing investors like Thrive Capital and Khosla Ventures.
