After the new Microsoft Bing integrated with ChatGPT, another development came from Opera. Artificial intelligence is getting integrated into the browser. Recently, parent company Kunlun Tech said that ChatGPT will be integrated into the Opera browser. However, the company did not give more details. At first, it was thought that the artificial intelligence-based chatbot could be quickly accessed directly from the left menu of the browser. However, the company also introduced a different infrastructure in addition to this.

Opera’s ChatGPT-powered tool the “shorten” isn’t available to everyone yet

Opera uses ChatGPT as a summarization tool in the browser. When a button (called Shorten) is pressed, the artificially intelligent chatbot scans the opened website and summarizes it in bullet points. This seems really clever. It also looks like a huge time saver in certain situations. It is not yet known exactly when Opera will bring the fast-working ChatGPT-centered step to everyone. Also, the company will most likely keep this integration exclusive to the desktop. However, this is not fully finalized as there is no detailed explanation yet.

Microsoft recently came up with the new Bing, which is directly based on ChatGPT, and the new Edge browser on a similar basis. Microsoft, which has made huge investments in the OpenAI-signed ChatGPT system so far, offers people two different forms of user experience with the new Bing. First, the new Bing combines normal web search results with smart answers for the topic searched by artificial intelligence. When a search is made, the web results are listed on the left and the results are generated by ChatGPT on the right.

However, there is also a separate “Chat” part of the process. In this other section, a mutual question-and-answer format can be carried out just like in ChatGPT. Unfortunately, the new Bing cannot be tried by everyone yet.
