Opera has teamed up with Spotify to offer a great surprise for its users. With a new feature added to Opera’s AI-powered browser, Opera One, music enjoyment has become more convenient. Additionally, users in select countries can now enjoy a free Spotify Premium subscription. Here are the details…
Opera Offers Free Spotify Premium
As you may know, listening to music in Opera has been possible for some time. However, with the latest update, Spotify has become the default music player in the browser. Users can access other platforms like Apple Music and Deezer through the sidebar player tab, as well as log in to their Spotify accounts to listen to music. Additionally, the Spotify player can be used in a portable mode on the screen.
The most notable aspect of the Opera-Spotify collaboration is the free Premium subscription offer. If you don’t have a Spotify Premium account yet and are in one of the countries where the campaign is valid, you can activate a two- or three-month free Premium subscription through the browser. Countries included in the offer are the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Turkey.
You can easily activate the free subscription via the sidebar of the Opera browser. After logging into your Spotify account, you need to accept the Premium subscription offer. This feature is expected to help Opera attract new users as well.
Opera’s new music player also automatically lowers the volume when you join meetings or calls and continues playing the music once the conversation ends. This feature allows you to listen to music without interrupting work meetings.
What do you think about Opera’s collaboration with Spotify? Would you use this feature to listen to music in your browser? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments!
