Oppo has officially introduced the Oppo A6L, a new model expanding its A6 series of smartphones in the Chinese market. The device stands out particularly for its massive 7,000 mAh battery and superior durability features. This new model joins the A6 family, which already includes the A6, A6i, A6 Pro, A6 GT, and A6 Max.
Oppo A6L Unveiled
The Oppo A6L offers users a 6.8-inch flat OLED display with FHD+ resolution. This screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals and reaches a peak brightness of 1600 nits, providing comfort in outdoor use.
A special coating called “Crystal Shield Glass” is used to increase the screen’s durability. Furthermore, the extremely thin 1.68mm bezels around the screen significantly enhance the device’s visual appeal.
Powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor platform, the Oppo A6L achieves a balance of high performance and efficiency. The phone is being released with a single configuration: 12 GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The device’s most notable feature is its 7,000 mAh battery, promising long-lasting use and supporting 80W wired fast charging. It comes with the Android 15-based ColorOS 15 operating system out of the box.
Offering impressive camera features, the Oppo A6L is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and a 2-megapixel auxiliary lens on the back. On the front, there’s a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
Other key features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and USB connections. The device’s casing boasts an IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance rating, offering military-grade durability. Despite all these features, the phone is 7.86 mm thick and weighs approximately 204 grams.
Looking at its specifications, the Oppo A6L appears to be a rebranded version of the previously introduced Oppo K13s and A6 GT/Max models. The device is available in China only with 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage for 1799 Yuan (approximately US$255).
Users can choose from Magnolia White, Begonia Pink, and Ocean Blue color options. The new phone is available through official channels in China, and early adopters can benefit from launch offers that vary depending on the region.
